We Held Workshops at "HAPPY BIRTH CELEBRATION!" at Hankyu Umeda Main Store -
On Tuesday 30 June 2026, PRE & POSTNATAL CARE HOTEL BUDOU NO KI led two workshops at "HAPPY BIRTH CELEBRATION!", held in COMMUNITY PARK on the 8th floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store. Many families and expectant mothers joined us in that warm, wood-filled space, and both sessions ended with a full house. Our sincere thanks to everyone who took part.
The morning session was "Baby Touch — skin-to-skin time with your baby, plus stretches to soothe mum and dad." Sitting in a circle with their babies on floor mats, participants learned gentle touch care from our staff that can be done fully clothed. After that quiet time together, we introduced simple stretches to release the upper body for parents who give so much every day.
The afternoon session was "Life Hacks: what to know before you push yourself too hard — a workshop on making parenting fun." Gathered around a "Easy-Hacks Sorting Sheet", participants sorted real tips from experienced mothers — "use a postpartum care hotel", "declare that you won't aim for perfect", "shop-bought baby food is fine" — into "already doing it / want to try" and "not yet / still unsure", exchanging views lively along the way. Expectant and current mothers mingled and went home with ideas for designing parenting to be easier and more enjoyable.
Budou no Ki will continue to stand alongside families before and after birth, supporting a way of parenting that doesn't demand you push yourself too hard.

We work continuously to create an environment where mothers and babies can stay in comfort and confidence, and to maintain and improve the quality of our service. Following a review of our costs, our rates will be revised as follows for stays from 1 June 2026.

[Event Report] We Took Part in the "Pre-Mama Fes" at familiar Kobe Main Store -
On Sunday 15 February 2026, Budou no Ki took part as an instructor in "Pre-Mama Fes – for the first 1000 days –", held at the familiar Kobe Main Store. Here is a short glimpse of the day.
The day's programme
tailored to each participant's situation, we kept it practical and informal.
Breathing and pain relief in practice: the main lecture covered breathing techniques to help labour progress smoothly, and ways to ease labour pain. With familiar staff kindly playing the part of the mother, we demonstrated in concrete terms the massage and support a partner can offer during the birth.familiar items × birth know-how
from a midwife's perspective, we also showed how familiar products can help with your hospital bag. Gauze handkerchiefs are invaluable for wiping away perspiration during labour; blankets and towelling throws keep you warm and stop you getting cold as the birth progresses.What participants said
our survey brought many kind comments, such as "the breathing techniques were concrete and easy to follow" and "it was good to learn what my partner can do before the birth."We will continue activities like these in support of the precious first 1,000 days of welcoming a new life.
