2026.05.18 Notice of Rate Revision

We would like to express our sincere thanks for your continued use of PRE & POSTNATAL CARE HOTEL BUDOU NO KI.

We work continuously to create an environment where mothers and babies can stay in comfort and confidence, and to maintain and improve the quality of our service. Following a review of our costs, our rates will be revised as follows for stays from 1 June 2026.

If your application is submitted by 31 May 2026, the previous rates will apply even for stays from 1 June onwards. Guests who have already booked will also be charged the previous rates.

We will continue to stay close to every guest and to provide a service in which you can rest with peace of mind. We ask kindly for your understanding.

2025.9.14 [News] A New Way to Book Your Postpartum Care Stay

As we have responded to an ever wider range of needs, guests have come to use Budou no Ki in many different ways — from leaving their baby in safe hands to enjoy time out, to receiving breastfeeding and parenting guidance. Our Yokohama location is therefore introducing separate bookings for the Childcare-Included Stay Plan and the Postpartum Care Plan. Full details are set out on our Note page.

2025.9.14 [Notice] Discontinuation of the Day-Use Plan: Thank you very much for choosing Budou no Ki Yokohama. We will be discontinuing the Day-Use Plan from 1 October 2025. Demand for overnight stays has grown considerably in recent years, and with a limited number of rooms we are no longer able to meet every request. Guests who have already booked the Day-Use Plan may use it as planned, with our assurance. We apologise for the inconvenience and will continue working to offer an even more comfortable stay through our overnight plans. We look forward to welcoming you again.

*A one-night stay is intended as a refresher and does not include consultation time with a midwife. If you would like parenting consultations, we recommend two nights or more.
*A surcharge of ¥5,000–¥10,000 applies on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, days before public holidays and public holidays (varies by the baby's age).
*Over the New Year period (30 Dec – 3 Jan), a surcharge of ¥20,000 per night applies to stays of up to three nights, and ¥10,000 per night for longer stays of four nights or more. *Guests on the long-stay discount pay no surcharge on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, days before public holidays, or public holidays.

Midwife Counselling: From breastfeeding worries to your baby's development, physical care and sleep, and on to caring for your own body — a midwife will listen and answer alongside you. Recommended for mothers of very young babies. 30 min ¥3,000 / 60 min ¥6,000

Nursery Teacher Counselling: A childcare professional answers your questions on age-appropriate play, interactions that encourage development, how to progress with weaning, and more. Recommended for mothers of older babies. 30 min ¥3,000 / 60 min ¥6,000

Breast Care: encouraging milk production, easing and preventing problems, and practising feeding together with your baby

Happy Time Plan

The Happy Time Plan is exclusively for returning guests. We let you know about dates that have unexpectedly opened up, for example when a birth date shifts. Even once parenting feels familiar, new worries come with each stage of growth, and a full night's sleep can still be out of reach — so do come and spend another happy stay with us.
*Cannot be combined with other discounts.

On the 10th and 20th of each month we announce dates available at 10% off.

Please check the calendar below for your preferred date, then contact us via your registered LINE account or by phone and say you would like to book the Happy Time Plan. These are excellent value — do keep an eye on the calendar on the 10th and 20th.

Prenatal Plan

30% off the standard rate *: Rest deeply, receive support and counselling to prepare your mind and body for birth, eat nourishing meals, and talk with mothers who have been through it — easing your worries about childbirth and parenting.
*Discount applied to the standard rate.

For those suffering from severe morning sickness or advised to rest at home.
Maternity yoga and footbaths are complimentary.
prenatal pelvic care is available as an option.

FACILITIES

Baby room

Our Baby Room cares for your child around the clock.
For hygiene reasons only staff may enter, but we will look after your baby at any time — when you are tired, unable to sleep, or enjoying a treatment or massage.
General newborn care, bathing, growth measurement, formula feeding, and more

Meals

Balanced meals overseen by professionals: Meals come from restaurants that support Budou no Ki Yokohama, carefully selected and recommended by our staff.
